Help with the GPEC from the State is set-up

The decree related to the help available to companies in order to elaborate forward looking administrative plans concerning employment and skills (GPEC) was announced on the News January 27, 2007.

A signature from the “convention d’aide au conseil” with the department prefect is needed for this plan to be allowed. They then help finance the conception and elaboration of the GPEC plan with the following conditions:

• This plan is reserved for companies with less than 300 employees.
• They provide up to 50% financing of the total amount of services with a ceiling of 15 000 € 
• The company must stipulate the motives it has for requesting the GPEC plan and must fit within 7 Human Resource administrative criteria (please see decree on the website)
  

A word of advice, take advantage of this new plan quickly !

As always when a new plan is created, the first companies to take advantage of it will more easily be allowed financing than the rest. The state is looking to promote its availability and therefore make it more accessible and because not many people use the budget allowance in the beginning, it must be spent!
