‘The business engineering for sports and leisure companies’ master is an ESC Group Chambery, Savoy diploma which meets the required international standards for studies terminating at an A levels + 5 years level.

Objectives

To train specialists who will work in the sports and leisure industries in senior executive, managerial, company creator, strategic, legal and international positions through the acquisition of entrepreneurial, managerial, strategic, legal and international skills.

To prepare sports and non -sports students for the demands of the sports market.

Specificities of the training

‘The business engineering for sports and leisure companies’ master has the aim of :
training sports professional or future sports professionals by providing them with a specialisation in the sports, tourist and leisure industry fields in order to prepare them for positions as managers or directors with a high level of responsibility in companies in the sports, tourism and leisure sectors.

The training will enable them to either :

  • continue a high-level sports career and/or begin a retraining process
  • to acquire specific professional experience thanks to a work study programme

Programme  : 800 hrs of training for the M1 and M2 spread over 2 years and made up of 8 main subjects : basic and advanced management cycles, the sports environment, innovation, projects and sports events, professionalizing and languages.

Public : This programme is at aimed at the following types of student.

  • Students who have just validated A levels + 3 years of studies or who are in the process of obtaining a general business master who can justify an A levels + 4 years level,
  • High-level sports people who can justify an A levels + 3 years level and wish to continue their sports career whilst studying, or who wish to retrain in order to work in the sports and leisure industry,
  • Professionals in the sports, tourism, leisure or mountain sectors seeking to perfect their skills and managerial expertise and who can justify that they have at least a degree or a VAE

Recruitment  : The candidate must fill in a pre-selection form and answer to the following criteria.

Master1 :

  • Have an A levels +3 level or be able to justify a ‘Validation d’Acquis d’éxpérience (VAE) or a level 11 diploma (type BEES 2nd level),

  • Find a partner company for the work study or the training course,

  • Satisfy the necessary requirements during an interview in front of a jury.

Master2 :

  • Justify an A levels + 4 level or of a Validation d’Acquis d’éxpérience ( VAE), or have an A level + 3 level and have been a high-level sportsperson for at least 5 years,
  • Find a partner company for the work study or the training course,
  • Satisfy the necessary requirements during an interview in front of a jury.
