Get high up :
As far as mountains are concerned, you have a choice : you are just a few ski-lift cables away from the slopes and less than an hour from the large ski resorts : Val d'Isère, Courchevel, Méribel... Ski, fun, surf... Climbing, rambling, mountain biking : innumerable rocks and nature paths are waiting for you. For thrill-seekers : via ferrata, canyoning, and why not, free-fall parachuting or para-gliding?
Grandiose scenery is there for you : the Tarentaise and the Maurienne valleys, the Beaufortain Massif, theVal d'Arly. Not forgetting the two Regional Nature Parks of the Bauges and the Chartreuse, the protected mountains of the Vanoise National Park and the ‘Mond Revard which overlooks the lake from its 1,550m altitude and from where you can discover all the Mont Blanc chain of mountains.
