Semester 1 : General French

225 hours of general French : October 2010 to February 2011
15 hours per week of French class
15 hours per week of skill-reinforcement in multimedia laboratory

The first semester is designed to help you improve your knowledge of French and overcome the barriers to communication in a French speaking environment. It combines an in-depth study of the key areas of French grammar, vocabuary, word building and expression. The classes offer extensive use of authentic material such as news articles, documents, listening and video material.

The course corresponds to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

There will be a test to determine your level on the first day.

The lessons will take place in the morning from 9 am. to 12 am. and our multimedia facilities, free internet access and wireless access will be used for individual work.

Semester 2 : Business French

225 hours of Business French : February 2011 to June 2011

This specific course requires a minimum B1 level of French according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

You will be taught Business French at different skill levels and prepare for the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) examinations.
 

Emphasis is placed on business vocabulary and professional terminology in the fields of law, banking, finance and international management. The course content is designed to help you acquire a better understanding of the French business world and sharpen your communication abilities with constant opportunities for discussion.

For student aiming to continue their studies in our business school and enrol :

the semester also provides intensive training for admission examinations.
